The third annual Santa Cruz Industrial Hemp Expo, Saturday and Sunday, May 13 and 14 at the Civic Auditorium in Santa Cruz, is announcing its panel series topics for the 2000 show.

A Chinese-American Hemp Flag Exchange is scheduled for 12:00 PM Saturday on the Main Stage. Representing China is Helen Sheng Ge, from Chinese hemp textile manufacturer Shandong Hemp General Mill, which has an American branch office in Alhambra, California. Representing the USA is Candi Penn, Executive Secretary for the Hemp Industries Association, based in Occidental, California.
The Santa Cruz Industrial Hemp Expo provides a positive basis for public support of hemp reintroduction, with an open-to-the-public trade show based setting that is well organized and effectively promoted.
