By Hemp Industries Association (HIA)
The Hemp Industries Association would like to extend an enthusiastic invitation to you, to join us in Canada for the Outdoor Farm Show in Woodstock, Ontario, September 12, 13, 14, 2000.
The Outdoor Farm Show is open to the public for all to enjoy, learn and network. We anticipate this year’s attendance to be 40,000. A number of progressive venues will be represented and industrial hemp is rightfully included as an eco-friendly fiber and seed crop.
The Hemp Village will feature:
Displays, Vendors, Fashion Shows, Foods & Beverages, Demonstration Crop and Speakers.
Also, this will be the second year the HIA has held its Annual General Meeting in Canada, showing support to Canadian farmers and processors. This years convention and show should prove to be a golden opportunity for legislators, farmers and entrepreneurs interested in the utilization of industrial hemp in North America.
The HIA convention is for members only. It will be held at the Eco Retreat in Orangeville (an hour from Toronto) on September 8th to 11th, 2000. An HIA Membership Application and Registration Form are available from the HIA Office for those interested in both events.
Industrial hemp is the cash crop of the future for textiles, paper, body care, food and fuel and does not harm the land or bring risk to the farmers by requiring heavy pesticides or herbicides. We hope this event is of interest to you and that your schedule will permit your attendance.
Please contact the HIA office if you have questions regarding these events or the industrial hemp trends in North America.
