Please name one project that you most want to see done for south-central Kansas.
Neese: Legalize hemp. It is a viable crop that our farmers can grow and can be used for textiles and an alternative fuel source. We used to have hemp in the United States. A lot of people get hemp confused with marijuana, but you could smoke a whole field and it wouldn’t do anything to you.
