No wall high enough: Natures Path has raised the bar with its third-party
Arran Stephens, Founder and President of Natures Path Foods, a leading manufacturer of organic breakfast cereals, said consumers have a right to know what they are eating. According to a poll of 1,001 adults by the Pew Charitable Trusts, three-quarters of the respondents wanted to know what foods contain genetically engineered foods. Of this group, roughly 60 percent said they didnt want genetically engineered crops introduced into the food supply.

Study Passes: Illinois House okays bill to allow study at U of I
The Illinois House Friday passed a bill authorizing the study of industrial hemp. Gov. George Ryan vetoed a similar bill last year at the urging of law enforcement authorities. The current bill contains language addressing their concerns.
