  1. Hemp ice cream gives a healthy, not high, fix
On these steamy summer days, it’s not surprising to learn that the U.S. Department of Agriculture estimates that each of us eats about 20 quarts of ice cream a year. But don’t pity the lactose intolerant. HempScream has hit the Dairy State, and just in time for national ice cream month.

  2. Hemp in Body Shop products draws DEA interest
And while The Body Shop’s products are legal, the DEA in May indicated it is considering new regulations that will interpret existing drug laws to prohibit any product that allows THC to enter the body, no matter how small the amount, said Chad Little, spokesman for The Body Shop USA.

  7. HempNut, Inc. introduces the world’s most nutritious organic blue corn chip
According to the Snack Food Association, Americans spent almost $4 billion on corn tortilla chips in 1999. That’s a lot of hydrogenated fat, preservatives and empty calories. But now there’s a blue corn chip packed with the omega-3 nutrition of organic shelled hempseed.

  8. Hempcar tour pumping biodiesel fuel
They’re burning a heap of hemp on that road trip. But don’t freak out. On the Hempcar Transamerica Tour, it’s all legal, man. The Hempcar, a 1983 Mercedes Benz diesel station wagon, is running on biodiesel fuel made from industrial hemp, a legal product if it is grown outside the United States.

  9. Hempola Family Farm Festival heats up
The first annual Hempola Family Farm Festival will be held on August 18th and 19th.

  10. Here comes the hemp car...
It is making three stops in Wisconsin as part of its cross-continental journey, promoting hemp legalization. Tomorrow it will be in Tomah and Eau Claire. Hemp Car uses hemp biodiesel for fuel. Industrial hemp would be an economical fuel if hemp were legal to cultivate in the United States, supporters say.
