Cannabis growers should start planting now
New South Wales Agriculture today called for expressions of interest from growers interested in participating in an industrial hemp trial beginning in Spring. Under the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985, industrial growers will be allowed to use varieties of cannabis plants containing less than 0.3 per cent tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), spokesman Bob Trounce told AAP.

China gives facelift to world highest Buddha statue
They examined the environment of the Buddha statue. In order to find the most suitable material to mend the cracks on the statue, experts put several hundred slates made of different materials beside the statue, and select one kind which had the least erosion. The selected material, in the same color of the statue, is a mixture of lime, carbon residue and hemp, according to experts.
