The Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance / Alliance Commerciale Canadienne du Chanvre 2003 Annual General Meeting Agenda

REGINA, Saskatchewan — The The Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance / Alliance Commerciale Canadienne du Chanvre (CHTA/ACCC) will be holding its first Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Toronto on October 17th, 2003, at the Holiday Inn, 370 King Street West, Toronto, Ontario, corresponding with the Canadian Health Food Show that weekend. The CHTA meeting will be held between 6-9 pm; the itinerary will consist of supper followed by a business meeting and features the election of the CHTA Board of Directors. The following day the CHTA booth at the Canadian Health Food Show will display member’s products and will also distribute health and business information on hemp in Canada.

Composition of Board of Directors: The property and business of the Corporation (CHTA) shall be managed by the Board of Directors which shall be composed of not less than four (4) and not more than ten (10) Directors. The number of Directors shall be fixed by the Members from time to time. Directors shall be individuals, at least eighteen (18) years of age and have power under law to contract. A Director need not be a Member of the CHTA.

Nominations: In advance and will be accepted from the floor. Please communicate your nomination to Arthur Hanks CHTA.

Note on Proxies: Each Members shall have the right to one (1) vote each at each meeting of the Members. Any Member may, by means of a written proxy, appoint a proxy holder to attend and act at a specific meeting of the Members in the manner and to the extent authorized by the proxy. A proxy holder need not be a Member. CHFA East is October 18-19 at the Toronto Convention Centre.
