    Nipawin’s location was chosen for this project due to its proximity to the necessary feedstocks (raw materials) required. The project will primarily be using agricultural and forestry waste products in a process called gasification in order to convert waste into higher value products, such as ethanol, just one potential product that will be produced in this project.
