Hemptown Clothing receives largest order to date, opening full U.S. market
Hemptown Clothing Inc. has received its largest ever wholesale distribution order, from TSC Apparel, one of Americas largest promotional wear distributors. TSC will offer Hemptowns line of environmentally friendly hemp fiber T-shirts and sportswear throughout the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska, from its warehouses in California, Ohio, and North Carolina.

Increasingly, flax is being used by automotive equipment manufacturers as a source of raw material that is environmentally friendly and less dangerous in the event of a vehicle crashing when used for interior panels in cars. Hemp fibres are also employed in industry to provide rigidity for plastics and in buildings as a natural insulator.

I Never Go Anywhere Without My Stash of Hemp
I have rediscovered hemp. Specifically, some wonderful hair products from Alterna. This stuff is so good you wont even want to sniff it or do anything else except put it in your hair. But I have to warn you that it is addictive. I have tried lots of the Alterna products and even got my nearly 80 year mother to become addicted. Now neither of us ever go anywhere without a stash of hemp.

There are ethical clothes baggy, beige T-shirts made in Third World worker co-operatives from organic Fairtrade cotton but not proper fashion.

Rampant bureaucracy threatens to suffocate New Zealand hemp
Green MP Nandor Tanczos declared today that Medsafe had no business in New Zealands hemp industry and that their proposed regulations threatened to suffocate a promising business opportunity for New Zealand farmers. Medsafe are reported to have proposed charging $550 for hemp licenses, ramped up from an existing $11.25, regular THC testing of crops to cost $300 and the continued prohibition of hemp seed foods.
