Technology Development of Canadian Hemp fiber to replace cotton and other environmentally harmful products

Hemptown

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Canada — Dr. Wing Sung, Lead Researcher, National Research Council of Canada, and Jason Finnis, President of Hemptown Clothing Inc. will be conducting a presentation on the development of a patentable enzyme technology process that may see hemp fibers replace cotton worldwide.

Hemptown recently announced that it entered into a collaboration with the NRC on the aforesaid development.

Further to this collaboration, Hemptown recently made an announcement whereby it has been given 80 acres of industrial land where it will establish a hemp fiber production facility in Saskatchewan, Canada. The Company will also purchase its hemp requirements from local suppliers.
